Q001: The program works fine with English text, but whether I type or paste non-English words into the box, it changes into strange symbols or a row of question marks, and when I click on the play arrow, I hear nothing. How do I fix this?
A001: Let's get Russian text for example.
This is two steps to put Russian text into Audiobookmaker:
Step 1: Select font and "Cyrillic" script for text document window:
Menu: "Tools"-"Document Options"
Page: "View"
Button: "Font"
Field: "Script"
(you want to have a font with cyrillic script support)
Step 2: When you want to copy/paste Russian text in Windows 2000/XP you
must switch keyboard layout to Russian ("RU" indicator near the system
clock) BEFORE you perform copy operation in SOURCE window. This
behaviour also actual for other text applications.
